Hoods - what do they do for you?

I get a bit panicky. So he has bought me a sort of training hood: it is just stretch fabric, with an internal blindfold. I can breath through it fine. It is light to wear. It provides me with that extra-sensory deprivation feeling enough to heighten my enjoyment. It puts me in his control and increases my submissiveness. He can see the shape of my face, see the grimaces my mouth is making, so he has some read on my expression. I love it. And I know I will want to move 'up' as it were.

Snowflake's comment about a hood on him - yeah. I havn't encountered that yet but, I think it would add a serious level of... villany to the dom. Scare-factor. I rather like the idea.

So many other comments about reading facial expression. No one has mentioned reading body language. I, for one, tense up in different ways during a scene. My hands are very telling also. The sounds that are made can tell tales as well. (even gagged, subs can make noises to let their Dom/me know how close they are to reaching their limit....when to slow down, speed up, rest a bit, or even stop.

As to the Dom/me wearing a hood or mask....hmmm, yummy. I hadn't thought much on that but it does add a sinister air to him/her. My thanks to Snow for mentioning it.

im going to take the diplomatic approach for once in my life.

There are really for me two ways of looking at the hood thing, personally i would freak if some on put one over my head. But at the same time i do winter mountaineering and cover my face not even leaving my eyes exposed.

i think it would depend on the circumstances it my hands are free and i know i can escape what would be round my head i would be happy.

However if i was bound and not in control then i would have a problem. If i ever submitted to anyone (not that, that’s going to happen) and they wanted to try it on me, it would have to be a slow gradual thing.

As a Dom the hood thing does really nothing for me and i don’t like them, but if a sub want to try it i would.

So i did talk about body language hun or well the lack of it when ordered or to stubborn and voice again the lack of.. Sir {WyldWyl } sometimes tells me the same no noice no movement..

You are more then welcome on teh dom/me wearing one .. i feel it needs to be addressed as well

an add on would be i don't like them on my Master as my ex would use them at times of severe punishment .. he reminded me of the executioner.. and that is just not a good feeling in any way shape or form
