Manchester is a bit far for me.. like 4 hours drive and thats not taking into account the traffic

am looking at that area because of those travelling from scotland and also those from the very south of the UK seems to be fairly central - and will be a good 2-3 hour drive for me too. How does the weekend of the 10th October sound ot everyone - or the following weekend?? feedback please
