I got my first laser hair removal treatment yesterday.

Remember earlier in this thread when I was talking about the stress and emotional pain of being transsexual? I think I forgot to mention the physical pain. It felt like she was heating up a bunch of half-inch slivers of jagged metal and then hammering them into my face one or two at a time. I mean I enjoy a good flogging, but this went way beyond that. Ow ow ow. And the crackling noise and burning smell didn't do much to reassure me.

At least the pain didn't last too long afterwards. Now I just have the sunburn from hell all up and down my face. Hopefully that'll clear up before I go to work on Monday.
