In response to slavelucy's comment that 'submissive' isn't a terribly good term to describe what submissives do, and that there are perjorative connotations attached to it, I submit for your approval:
Leader -- one to whom power is transfered
Follower -- one who consentually transfers power
Hostage -- one who non-consentually transfers power
