I'm very happy that the forum is back.

I don't remember what e-mail I used to register for the forum, which could pose a problem if I lose or need to change my password, etc. How do I find this info out?

I'm getting just the black screen when I try chat... have deleted, closed files, rebooted.. Is chat just down again? I'm using Windows IE 7

Today for some reason my firefox cannot access chat. I just get a black screen. It worked fine yesterday and last night. Anyone else notice any differences on firefox?

have been going into chat since 2008 about 3 weeks ago my screen went black and now I can not even find my chat button on the menu.

Hello! Ive just clicked on 'Chat' and this is what happened. I think you have to be patient on this one. The screen goes black, BUT.....just wait for a few seconds, then you should pop into chat room. Hope this helps? I'm using chrome and had no trouble at all!

I don't know if this can help me ? though it seems every time I post a link , it somehow freezes my keyboard so that I am not able to stay in chat, I end up having to drop out of chat room and refresh the room , then I am able to type again , help if you can ? franceshoffman@ymail.com

Cannot get into chat with either IE or Firefox. Opera works. No freakin' idea.

Different machine. Chat works with Opera, not FireFox nor IE. After a minute of white screen on IE got a notice that Flash needed to be installed (it already was.) Updated Flash, IE chat worked. Firefox didn't. Upgraded Flash within Firefox. Still no chat. Still no freakin' idea. It's a computer thing.

Back to the laptop. Updated to Flash13. Chat still doesn't work in either FF or IE. Works in Opera. Same modem, same internet connection. Browser settings? WFK?

Might try clearing out your cookies. Seems to be the default first step.

Removed all cookies using Ccleaner... no change. still black screen in Chrome

I use Cookie Monster. All cookies are cleared when the browser closes. Plus when I log out the forum message is that all cookies have been cleared. I understand the cookie conflict. But not the inconsistencies.

Tried Firefox again. On the third refresh chat came up. Still no clue.

I am having real problems in the chat rooms, It will let me post 1 message then the keys become inoperative and wont type anything, and if they do it will not send them, any ideas

i have this problem.. but only if i try to pm or whisper. It is extremely frustrating.

Sometimes it depends on the browser you are using...I hate Explorer. I find Chrome works the best or Foxfire. Good luck and hope it helps!

lorem, have you found a way to make Library chat work on Firefox? That's what I prefer, but I can't seem to get chat to load. All current on flash and the plugs ins, so I'm at a loss.

Sir, hmmmm I am confused. I have not had a problem really, just mostly on Explorer. I unfortunately am not very computer tech savvy...*grin*, I am just fortunate to have a really good computer. If I find out any information I will let you know.
