While most glass (Pyrex) and acrylic toys can stand minor knocks and bumps, they can chip or break with heavy abuse; for safety's sake, never use a chipped or cracked glass toy. Store them in a padded bag when not in use. Don’t expose it to rapid and extreme temperature changes and clean it off in between uses as recommended and you should be fine.
