The Last Chance

This was made for my grandfather, my grandmother passed away in May of last year and my grandpa passed away this past April. I was at the hospital visiting him every day, the last day I came in, they had pulled the plug on the respirator and was alone to say my goodbyes, and he died three hours after I left.. Loved him dearly. rip.

I spent some time alone to cry,
For I was there the night you died
But I was lucky to say goodbye
