Doing this again wrote a reply and lost it when the sight went down and I must say getting tired of that. Shame that it has become so unstable these days.

I find it refreshing that you admit to being new and I also think that it is brave and shows an honesty that will serve you very well as a Dom.
Your answers show that you are new so let me give you some advice that should help you in this journey. First though I want to remind not just you but everyone that at sometime the greatest Dominant ever was where you are now.
Now for the advice, first go back to the list and buy each of the pain devices you have shown interest in. These you will us on yourself to learn how they feel and how the pain is controlled. This is essential for you to overcome a fear of using them and to understand their potential for damage in the wrong hands.
Another reason that many so called Doms fail to do this is the fear of hurting themselves so they weld the clips, pin, pegs, paddles, whips, flogger and all the other without any real knowledge of them. Any idiot can use any of these but to use them well, to know how to blend them in to increase the pain pleasure takes a real in depth first hand knowledge.
Read what real Doms think is important, study that. Take those tenants that they expound on that seem right to you and learn all you can about them
After or while doing that look at photos to find out which things excite you then plan how you will do them to her in a safe sane manner.
Lastly when you plan don't stop at the how will I do this but take the most important step for a Dom. HOW WILL I RESPOND WHEN THINGS GO WRONG. They will be sure of that and when they do if you haven't a plan for what to do then your lost and she is hurt or worse. These include having keys close by when using locks, cutters for any type of bondage gear including bolt cutters for padlocks when they jam.
Good luck to you, be smart and you will do well.
