    hypocritical squickiness?

I'm new so bear with me if this is in the wrong place *waves hello*
I've been reading the site today and read a few pages of a post & replies to a story idea by someone named Sirthumper.
I realize the site forbids stories with child porn but...i'm confusing myself even with my thoughts lol
I was squicked by the original post. And yet my Dom and i practice ageplay. So how is a story different than that? Its all fantasy right?
Probably if i'd read a story with a similar plot i would've identified with the girl and i would've prolly ...welll..been excited. But just reading the outline made me feel very yucky. Anyone know what i mean?

It is totally understandable. There is a big difference between age play between two consenting adults and BDSM stories written with minors as characters. It is fantasy but we all like to be able to submerge ourselves in the characters and become part of the story. I actually find such stories offensive so I do not read them. My instinct to protect is triggered whenever I read of a child being abused fantasy or not. I think your feelings are quite natural so don't be too hard on yourself.

Very good point, Kist (i.e., age play stories vs. stories about minors).

I, too, enjoy age play at times. Role playing as a bad/child or being Dominant over a 'schoolgirl' is much fun.

I guess people are viewing the legal aspect of this decision, I think?

    Curious myself...
