    My Pride and Joy

Everyone on the chat knows about my pet rats. One (Amebelle, Amey for short) of which actually gets to go outside on a leash and also rides my dog across the room before falling off and going to explore there. The other is my timid little baby named Teagan Jr. Of course, I'm in the pics too so they're still self-portraits.

Amey is the hairless Siamese dumbo rat.
Teagan is the red-eyed cream baby dumbo rat. She's grown since these pictures were taken.

I actually had to go to a Pet Co. (which is bad because I work at PetsMart) and I found a fully adjustable ferret harness. But it works great for Amey. She absolutely loves going outside and walking around. Usually I just let her drag the leash so she can get farther if she wants. I only grab it if she's getting into something she shouldn't. I haven't tried taking lil' Teagan out on the leash because I think it'd scare the living daylights out of her.

I'm glad everyone likes my cute lil' rats! I feel bad for my dogs. One of them has become insanely jealous of the rats. Even though she's learned to let them crawl on her.

omg sooooooooo cute! i love rats! i used to have a pet rat named David. i named him after the boy i bought him from in high school. we were doing projects in AP English class about the medieval period and David (the boy) bought David (the rat) to use in his exhibit about the plague. only he was abusing the poor thing and it broke my heart!! so i bought David (the rat) from him for 6 bucks and took him home and loved him to itty bitty pieces. he finally died about 3 years after that he was so sweet though...he loved to curl up and take naps with me or sit in the palm of my hand and wrap his tail around my wrist. i'll have to try and find a piccy!

The rats are cute, but you are adorable! Thanks for sharing the pics
One kiss, and each spot of soreness - each little tender contusion - was transformed. Instead of pain, each bruise was filled with pleasure. It was as if . . . as if a clitoris sprang up in the place of every bruise, and when he kissed me I climaxed, again and again." -- The Door to December by Dean Koontz
