The vagina cannot accommodate 7-8 inches. However, it feels as though the entire length is in because there's a couple of inches of labial tissue on the outside of the vagina. Depending on her position, a woman can typically accommodate 5-6 inches.

I've been reading this thread with much interest, and finally had to weigh in. Size does matter. I've never met an experienced woman who said, "It's not the size, it's what he does with it" without rolling her eyes. That's just my personal experience. That said, it's not so much the length as the girth. Girth matters in a big way. It creates the sensation of being "filled," and a thick penis creates more friction and more pulling of the labial tissues. More pulling equals more movement of the clitoral hood, which creates more pleasure.

Zero brag here--I am very tight. I always have been, and any intercourse session begins with a bit of pain, and ends with my husband admonishing me to "let go." But I've been with a man who lacked the girth my husband has (and no, he's no porn star, he's not sporting a 2 1/2-3 inch girth), and the sensations between initial insertion and culmination of the act are seriously reduced without the girth. It just plain doesn't feel as good with a narrow penis.

'least not to me
