I am currently writing a story about a character that is trying to fight back during a rape, and I need to know some background on what happens to the penis, blood loss, how much bodily control/function the man retains, etc.

Fighting back: The knees are a wonderful tool of pain for banging your opponent's head. Thrusting the your body against the others could be another nice move. Dropping to you knees and using you head as a bashing tool I'm sure has been done a few times. If all else fails, scream like the madness of hell and hope that some hears you and gives enough to do something. lmao- not in my neighborhood

Not sure if this was ever answered, so I'm going to wade in--sink my teeth into the subject, as it were ;-)

First off, much depends upon whether or not the penis in question is fully erect--a fully erect penis is likely to take more damage as it loses its "roll with it" capacity, i.e., that wonderful roley-poley quality that helps to prevent both puncture and crushing wounds. A fully erect penis is also possessed of a fairly impressive blood capacity via the corpus cavernosa, making a severe bite a far more bloody affair with erection.

Placement of bite is also important--assuming the penis is erect, severing of either of the two dorsal arteries would result in an impressive spray of bright red blood, whereas severing of the dorsal vein would result in a slower, pulsing bleed of a darker color. Any of these could result in death if steps to stem the flow of blood are not taken immediately.

Placement of the penis in the biter's mouth is also very important--incisors will sever blood vessels and cut through the corpus cavernosa, whereas molars will result in crushing injuries which are less likely to lead to severe hemorrhage. Presence or absence of foreskin would also make a difference in bleeding, as well as affecting the biter's ability to grind into the shaft proper.

While I can't say with authority how much control the man being bitten would retain, I think it's safe to say that reason would flee in short order. Likely the worst response would be to attempt to knee the biter--a knee to the jaw and a bad bite becomes an amputation. Sharp blows to the temple of the biter, thumbs ground hard into the biter's jaw, or fingers/thumbs to the eyes of the biter would probably inspire him/her to relax the bite. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a man losing bladder control or rectal tone in the face of a severe bite, nor would I blink at the idea of a man swooning, or even losing consciousness from the pain or shock. Obviously, any bite that breaks skin would require medical attention ASAP.

As for what the biter would experience? Assuming an erect penis, think uncooked octopus meets turkey neck. A real sinewy feel, not easy to bite through--it would take a good amount of side to side motion in addition to clenching down--think of the way horses chew. If a blood vessel is severed or one of the corpus cavernosa layed open, there would be a LOT of blood in the mouth.

i enjoy having my penis bitten, but not to the point that it breaks the skin. The best place, for me, to have someone bite is around the head of the penis where the base of the head where it meets the shaft. i read one story once where a woman bit through the head of a man's penis, but this would be going way too far for me. Depending on how sever the wound is and if it's gone untreated, a man can actually die from this as the penis is pretty much full of blood during an erection and completely free flowing. Don't know any karate moves, but in a situation like this if the man is fighting back and trying to seriously resist, propping his back up against the wall and pushing the person's face back with his knee would probably be his best choice. He could do the same with his foot too, maybe even digging his toes into the other person's eyes or pushing against the nose. There's a pressure point on the lower part of the nose, the little cartilage between the nostrils that if pushed up against from below will cause a person intense pain. If you want to feel it, you can take your pointer finger and place it above your lip and push it up against this point, never seen anyone do this fully to themselves because of the severe pain it causes. This is a tactic you can use to break up a fight when you pull a person off the other from behind (believe me, that person won't resist if you've got him held this way). All you need to pull them off is your finger under the nose pressing up against this pressure point and your other hand on their chest to guide them back, they'll be totally docile because of the pain it's that intense. But anyway, the person in your story wouldn't want to do the knee to the jaw as his manhood would be inside the mouth and doing so would probably cost him his member.

A couple of sources of inspiration are the movies. "The World According to Garp" had a scene near the end when a woman bit off a guys penis. "Last House on the Left" also had a scene where the mother character bit off then spit out her daughters rapists penis.

While not a chewing, biting thing I think I remember that the "Godfather" book had a chapter about some goon being rubbed out by oral sex. As I remember they took him out on a boat along and had a woman to give him non-stop oral sex until he hemmoraged.

Along the same lines Viagra, Letitra and Cialias have warnings about seeking medical attention if you have a boner for more than four hours. My GF laughed when I asked her who the medical attention should be for, the boner or the bonie.

Perhaps a story line about force feeding one Viagra after another until the penis exploded.

i read an article about something like that. Some guy was taking viagra and also taking some herbal suppliment pills at the same time to help him with his sex drive. He had a hard-on for something like a week before he finally went to see the doctor. i think afterwards he couldn't sustain a hard-on at all no matter what. Ended up losing his girlfriend over it.

Not sure about the penis, but a fully severed scrotum and testes will cause the subject to bleed to death in under five minutes, unconsciousness usually coming in under two. ("Usually" because different humans have different reactions to blood loss - some go out due to shock in a couple of seconds, others remain compis to the point of heart failure.)

The Human penis is purely hydro in nature, and fed by numerous blood vessels. I would expect any majoer incised wound to be extremely serious.
