Why cant we post wav or sound files

It would be cool to post a sound file to enhance the post

... but I know I, for one, find it much less annoying to not have to listen to other people's audio signatures. Especially since on a forum I was once a member, many people used recordings of their own voices for their signatures, and not all of them were very polite or even intelligible.

I'm quite happy with having the forums silent.

You can post a URL anytime you want. You can either type in in or use the "http://" button just above the dialogue box you see when you're typing a message. That's how I post all those links in my threads.
