I kind of abandoned meter halfway through this one. Just needed to write it out.


You've lost the sanctuary within your mind
It used to be so easy to find
You try to find balance and calm yourself
But your mind is a torrent, submerged within hell
You're exposed and unstable, it's plain to see
You sit and wonder 'what's wrong with me?'
You don't want to burden, to be a pain
You don't want to be thought insane
So you'll retreat, you'll run and hide
You won't let hem see that you're dying inside
