Ok - so I have spoken with a couple of the other UK members and was wondering how many would be interested in meeting up in an informal setting such as a pub/hotel bar. If enough people are interested we can try to find a date that suits all and organise something.

I would be interested but my present circumstances would make it difficult for me unless it were somewhere close by and on one of the few weekends when I am free. No money, no free weekends... bad combination... Though hoping that will change in september... and I have one free weekend in October (need to check when it is).

No dates or location have been decided yet - it really depends on who is interested and when they are available - but if does go ahead it will be more like September /October time if not later.

If you need any help organising things let me know. I may be able to help out by finding a location that is suitable. Being selfish, I'd say the Midlands is the best area to meet as it means no one has to travel from one extreme end of the country to another...

There seems to be enough interest so Im going to start looking for suitable venues in the midlands - I was thinking a travel lodge is cheap accomodation and they usually have a pub nearby. Also was thinking of late september or early october time. Please let me know your preferences
