Loss

When one loves so much
They have to let go,
For the pain of it
Is driving them mad.
When their thoughts are
No longer sane and they fear
Letting others know their mind,
When they give their word and
Can no longer uphold it …
The sense of pain and loss
Of a friend, nay , a companion,
Set free as a dove to fly even higher…
The emptiness , the loss is overwhelming.
The mourning is lasting…
Sensations and thoughts all smear together….
Loss of something which had so much value
So much meaning … leaving such a void
That will never be filled.
Loss is the worst of outcomes.
The most devastating of all things comparable to a death..
Death of a part of you
you had to let go and strive onward at a crawl..
The words fade.
Life’s color fades.
Where is there meaning in such times?
Makes one feel there is only illusion.
Reality is if you do not have loss you have never had.

Thrall my location has always said in the darkness until recently.
but before.. in the darkness I knew my way.
I know longer know my way as I cannot see the way.
