Dwell in Fear
written by snowflake
i sit here on the eve of what i dwell in fear,
know i can no long drown or shed another tear.
All alone i curl up in a ball of anxiety pure,
what tomorrow shall bring i can not be sure.
The fear and anxiety eats and tears me apart,
to sit here alone, afraid cuts open my heart.
But others do not fear the same as i do,
for it is me that it's about not them too.
They close their eyes to what tragic might be,
and hang their heads and walk away to not see.
But as for me i have to face it this i must do,
No matter what it is my problem this is so true.
To God i pray for protection from tragic news,
and happy thoughts win and bad thoughts lose.
That the sun will shine bright as it has before,
my dreams will carry on and not be shut by a door.
