This is an excellent site but I can't believe how quiet this forum is considering the amount of hits the site gets.
I'm pretty sure the visitors can read and write so literacy isn't a problem (well, maybe for some of the writers. ;-)
Here's my first suggestion:
Move general talk from the bottom to the top!
That will send the signal that general talk is encouraged.

You got a good suggestion. I changed the forum order and let's see how it goes. Just look at the "view" count for each thread. After hundreds people read the thread, just a few bother to write a reply. We do need something to encourage people to write more here.
What about some polls?
I can't think of one so far as I've only had one cup of coffee so far this morning.
