Are there any health and safety issues regarding it (besides not getting stuff stuck up it, of course)? Such as, will it bleed if sufficient lube is used, and will there be any complications with passing motion? And how wide is a wide enough base for a plug, assuming i try to make one myself?

Also, kinda off topic, but is it really possible for -anything- to get stuck in your vagina? I really don't see how that can happen, but I've heard stories of a girl pushing a dildo/vibe in too far and it got stuck :/

whats with so many people trying to make their own butt plugs lately? I've noticed that mentioned in a couple threads lately...why? what is so apparently fascinating about creating the object that is to be shoved up one's ass? I'd just buy a plug personally, you could always get one off the net if the embarrassment factor is an issue. Otherwise the base needs to be large enough to not fit up your butt. You can bleed if you don't use enough lube or if it's a bit too rough. I bled once, but it was only a little spot from a tear. If you really coat it to start off with, and take it nice and slowly, letting yourself adjust to it you should be okay. If you get a LOT of pain, or it just doesn't feel right, then stop. You've gotta clean it as well, remember that (aside from glass) it'll absorb all the nasties from your bottom. As for things getting stuck up vaginas... I'm not sure, but I've always been afraid of that! :p

It would probably help if we knew what your goal is. Have you not found a but plug large enough for your liking? Or perhaps long enough? If so, I have experienced this same agrivation. A very large dildo may work nicely if the reciever is well lubed and you work up in size slowly. But of course, you can not keep it inside on it's own the way you can with a but plug. I am sure there must be a limit to the width you can stretch it, but I do not know the exact answer.

For your second question - How small are the items you are planning on inserting into the vagina? Something the size of a small tampon (about 2 inches long and thin) can be easily removed by baring down with the aid of a finger.

Personally I have had a raw egg carefully inserted in my vagina and with just a little push it pops right out. ;)

Hmm, Nastia, the size I was thinking about was that of a normal, small phallus-shaped vibrator. 5", 1.5" perhaps? Because I was wondering why all the hype about things getting stuck in your butt, but never heard of anything getting stuck in your vagina, till someone told me an horror story about it :p

Disinfecting soap and and very hot water. Let air dry. Or if you have a dishwasher buy dishwasher safe pugs. They are prevelant enough you may be able to find one or one that you can have shipped. If you use a normal dildo, like a plain small simple white vibrator (turned off of course). It will not go any farther than you try to put it in while playing. The entire anal canal is a very tight place to be.

I think Adamoverjules is right if you just want an average size and can sterilize them in the dishwasher, you should try buying one. Unless you are a glass maker or plastics specialist? But it would seem even then that you should have some experience and something to modle it after.

And about the complications with passing motion?

Everything flows nicely by the next day. Infact sometimes it only helps to stimulate things and bowl movements come later that same day. My master has a rule of only having anal play once a week so that my anus has time to recover and remain it's normal size. Also you seem knew at this so let me add. Lot's of lubrication should be used and the toy of joice should be applied slowly into position. ;)

From personal experience, yes small toys can get temporarily stuck in the vaginal canal. However, they do come out with patience and a bit of coaxing. The vagina has a small area, and a hard stop at the cervix, so unless the toy is truly stuck, it's not really going anywhere. It's certainly not likely to go, say into the uterus. Just no way for it to easily get there. However, the lower intestine is a lot longer and doesn't have its own backstop, as it were.

I did "lose" a bullet once -- maybe 2 inches long, and slimmer than a standard dildo -- but even though it was too slippery to grab hold of with my fingers, it slid out on its own a bit later.
