Attention Whores and Drama Queens



Are Attention Whores and Drama Queens certifiable enough to have a psychological problem? Are these attention issues leftover from childhood that are manifesting in adult life? Or are they just pains in the asses?


Everyone wants attention, praise, and love, that’s normal.….but some go out of their way…even if they don’t think they are, to get it.


You all know the people I’m talking about, it can be a man or a woman. The attention whore who must be the center of the attention, at all times, regardless of how that attention is gained. You know….no ones thunder must be louder then their own.


And the Drama Queens, the ones who are always griping about something, they don’t like this or that and nothing is ever right. Or their world is ending because of god only knows what. It could be big or small, real or imagined. Every little thing going on in their life is a disaster! The perpetual victim, they do anything and everything to get sympathy and pity.


What Drama Queens want is empathy, they want their story….heard and known. They want you to ….feel…for them.


Are these pathological problems or just insecurities? I know from my end, having to watch and/or put up with it is damn annoying!


I have my moments of being both. I think we all do. But those are only……moments.


What is it with the people who are always like this?
