I'm new, my name's Megan.

I've been intrigued by the idea of a BDSM relationship for the past few months. I'm not really into pain. I have a very low tolerance for it, actually. I'm more interested in the Dominant/submissive aspect of BDSM. The closeness and intimacy of a relationship between a Master and a slave is something I am envious of.

I'm interested in relationship where I am the daughter or where I am a pet. I am cautious, I am stubborn, and I'm really new to this, so I'm going to need someone patient, I think. lol.

I just don't know where to look, or what to say...I'm still a little fuzzy on the rules.

There are no rules, as far as i know. However, there are two things you should always keep in mind:
First: be very careful about what personal info you share. There ARE freaks out there.
Second: Keep it safe, sane and consentual and don't do stuff you don't want to do just because someone tells you 'that's what little girls are supposed to do and if they don't they're not good subs and btw i'm a Dom so you better start doing what the heck i tell you' or any such crap.

Apart from that, the only rules that apply are those you set up yourself.

Where you should start? Hmm, browsing the forum, reading threads that interest you, talk to people in the chat, read stories on the library, join the tasking society, ask questions, asf aso, there's so much to do and learn.

And don't hurry, but enjoy and have fun.

You've already started, by asking questions. I am still new to alot of this as well, but I'm taking it slow, and I'll find that perfect sub that I'm looking for.
Now just because I'm new to the lifestyle doesn't mean that I'm new to being a dominant person, with a dominant personality.

edit: the reason I say coming to terms with being a sexual deviant is hard on Women specifically is b/c of the social connotations of the masses.. ie: a Woman who loves to fuck and/or get fucked is a filthy, dumpster, whore (Yes, I speak from personal experience.. Honestly, it was so long ago. And ironically, the person who was being warned against being with Me, ended up dating Me for two years.. he screwed Me over big time, broke My heart while we were in Italy, messy break-up.. Thank you for sharing. I do have to ask though...What exactly is a St. Andrew's Cross? I can kind of picture just a big cross (which isn't all that hard seeing as I've been raised Catholic), but it doesn't seem like a regular cross would suffice for the kinds of things I've read.
