Conversation Between Lagomorph and emeralds

Something happened that made me consider my respect theory... A comment on Facebook : ) regarding the lack of respect shown to a funeral possession... That people in the possession did not show the proper respect because their lights were not on.... Wt??. I never knew that was a requirement.. I knew other things you had to do ... So perhaps respect has always been a following of expectations or traditions and as these change become untraditional .. We feel that as disrespect.. Where the people involved may simply display it in another way. ( I know.. Deep for a Thursday early morning ,,, lol )

Respect is too transient...one might say it's all gone, yes, but it depends entirely on where and who you are. Some of us still stand up for our elders on buses, and some of us don't. Some of us believe respect has to be earned, in it's entirety, and some afford at least a small amount to everybody we meet until they prove they don't deserve it. So really...respect is still here...it's just a little harder to see in some places.

And bring back rosy apple lollipops...i miss those ; )

Hmm.. I would bring back respect..

The sort of respect that people would stand up for a pregnant woman or old person on a train.. The respect for older people ... That others would listen to what they have seen and learnt. The respect that a married couple should give to each other.. The respect a family should have for each other... The child for a parent... One human being for another...and I don't care if my dream is selfish ... : ) it's my world too

Well, we do the things we don't like so we can do more of the things we want to do, because time is short and we don't have the means to do all the things we want unless we do a lot of the things we don't wanna do. Unless we are lucky and are born billionaires. Then we get to make naughty videos.

Change any one thing in the world...I do hate this question, it's a loaded gun. There is always something you will think of later, and no matter what you put, in the end it's selfish. I'd just restore the ozone layer and leave it at that. :P Can't make me change anything else if I don't wanna.
