Maybe I'll have to try the Imriel books.
I was a bit skeptical about liking the Imriel books, but once I got into them I found the story very compelling. I found quite a lot to relate to in Imriel.
I haven't read the Imriel books. How do they compare to the Phedre books?
Ah, as a guy I did kinda wish to be Delaunay or Joscelin... though in later Imriel books I just wished Joscelin was my dad... I may have absent father issues...
