He watched as she awkwardly coiled the thin, chocolate brown rope three times around her small wrist. He smiled at her as she pulled at the end with her teeth...tightening the knot. She smiled widely at him...the love shining in her eyes, her excitement palpable. He took her hand, cupping it gently in his, palm upward. He brought her wrist up to his lips and gently kissed the knot secured there.
